This case includes two amazing Bordeaux's. Dad (Mike) and I recently cracked open one the 2014 Les Amis D'Alana Bordeaux's; it's a gorgeous wine with a great story.
The name translates to English as "The Friends of Alana."
Our wine maker, flew over to Bordeaux, France, to a friend's Vineyard to oversee the viticulture and making of this wine.
This gorgeous wine is features along with other beauties such as our 2011 Limited Release Pinot Noir with only a very small number of the cases being released.

The 2011 Alana Limited Release Pinot Noir is a wine you won't forget. I can still remember the first time I tasted it years ago. When I tried it again recently, it became apparent this stunning wine has only become better with age.  Dark fruits, perfectly balanced with lovely tannins culminating in a complex and layered profile. An absolute joy to drink. This is the wine I would choose for any celebration.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to experience a range of vintages, varietals, and a new world of flavours from the comfort of your living room.

Tasting Notes:

Les Amis D'Alana Bordeaux, 2014

It is beautifully fruited on the nose displaying dark plum and blueberry characters with game, dried herb and nutmeg nuances. The palate is ripe and nicely weighted, offers silky mouthfeel backed by fine, delicately drying tannins.

Alana Limited Release Pinot Noir, 2011

The best areas of the Pinot Noir vineyard was identified and throughout the viticulture season, these vines received particular and very careful management. The grapes from these vines were kept separate and the 10 barrels these vines produced were monitored through the barrel aging process. Finally the best two of these barrels of wine were selected by the winemaker as being the best two barrels from the vintage.

I tried a bottle of this wine recently and was simply blown away by the fruit flavours, the complexity and length of the finish...If you want a bottle to cellar and really impress your wine buddies...then you must get some of this...

Alana Limited Release Pinot Noir, 2016

95/100 Points, 5/5 Stars.  Absolutely gorgeous. This is sweetly fruited and fabulously lifted on the nose showing dark berry, vanilla, hazelnut, cured meat and truffle characters, followed by a concentrated palate that’s graceful and persistent.

Alana Lumiere Pinot Noir, 2018

The palate is juicy and lively with a smooth body throughout. The lovely fruit intensity carries through into a lingering finish.  A friendly Pinot Noir that's approachable and seriously good drinking.

Chateau Les Belles Murailles, Bordeaux, Red, 2014

Lovely dark red colour tinged with subtle terracotta shades, is concentrated and intense on the bouquet, revealing well-balanced oak and fruit.

Alana 'Estate' Pinot Noir, 2017

94/100 Points, 5/5 Stars. Attractive on the palate, delivering succulent fruit intensity together with flowing mouthfeel and silky tannins, making it complex and very appealing.
