at university, or marking a significant life stage he was always quick to celebrate the moment, drawing the family together and sharing a glass of bubbles! 

Join us in celebrating the small things in life!  

 

Recently whilst walking through Picton I came across this artist, and instantly loved with her work! Brenda paints women celebrating life with their friends. I can put so many names to the faces in her paintings. I love them and think that they are so much fun and bring joy, so straight away I knew I wanted to put her work on our wine, I hope her artwork brings you joy as well!

"Living in Marlborough, wine country, means inspiration is on my doorstep!
Several years ago I missed a painting opportunity in our Bay, due to working full time. However, arriving for the LAST half hour to a scene of such frivolity, colour and artists clad in jazzy aprons, grey or dyed hair sticking out at all angles, paint brushes in one hand, wine glasses in the other and works in progress.... MAGIC!
I took photos, and continued my love of portraiture on another level. 
Having won the N.Z. National title for an entry in the Peters Doig Art Awards, the sense of achievement confirmed for me I was O.K. as a self taught artist. And so "The Wine Girls Series" began.
